A 2017 addition to the Johnnie Walker Blenders’ Batch range (they released the Red Rye Finish expression as part of the range in 2016), this blend was features whiskies finished in casks that previously held Caribbean pot still rum.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Spiced fruit, creamy vanilla and a subtle touch of mineral-y smoke.
Palate: Light and grassy, with a kick of cinnamon and ginger.
Finish: Quite long, boasting notes of vibrant honeycomb and milk chocolate.
