Description
Another stunning release from world famous Scotch brand, Johnnie Walker, in their endlessly elegant Blue Label collection. This bottling, Year of the Horse, comes in exquisitely designed packaging by avant-garde designer Robert Wun.
On the outside, the artwork reflects the ties between the bold spirit of the horse with flowing, sculptural lines that make it captivating. Inside, the liquid is a smooth 40% abv, drawn from some of the rarest casks across Scotland’s storied distilleries, including Cardhu, Clynelish, and Benrinnes.
On the nose, the expression reveals dried fruits and honey, complemented by roasted hazelnuts and evolving notes of dark chocolate, leather, and smoky sandalwood. Subtle spice and a lingering wisp of sherry give way to a gentle, smoky oak finish that reflects the depth of the blend.
